Early in 2025, the US Government issued a series of actions and imposed new tariffs on almost all countries. In addition, they removed the "de minimus" exemption meaning that ALL items from these countries will be taxed, whether they are $1 or $10,000.
This action has created a shipping backlog with US Customs that is unprecedented. We have had orders sitting for close to 2 months waiting to come through.
Unfortunately, as a small business, we cannot absorb these tariffs as they are now at 145% of the cost of goods. We have been forced to raise prices but hope that one day, calmer and cooler heads will prevail and reasonable trade can resume.
In the meantime, prices will be fluctuating heavily as existing stock is exhausted and replacement orders are made. For example... switches that sell for $5.50 per pack today, will rise to $13.50 in the coming weeks.
As well, we may experience delays on some orders. Please understand that we are doing everything in our power to get custom built orders out the door as quickly as possible - but this is well beyond our control, and affects the entire world, not just our small business.
