Krytox™ GPL105 Oil 6ml in a needle tip bottle

Regular price

Details

Bag lubing your springs? Here is what you need.

Each needle dropper bottle is capable of holding 7ml, and is filled with at least 6ml of Krytox 105 oil. Most of our average bottles we fill will measure out closer to 6.5ml.
Our needle tip bottles are the perfect solution for precise measurements and consistency. Forget the eyedropper bottles and squirt bottles - the needle tip will allow you to precisely count the number of drops added to your bag for spring lubing. Only a few drops will cover an entire batch of springs.

  • Krytox GPL Oils are completely nonflammable They will not burn, even in 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen and are compatible with all elastomeric seal materials and engineering plastics
  • Krytox GPL series oils are chemically inert to virtually all chemicals, including oxygen, chlorine, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid. They are insoluble in most solvents and are resistant to steam
  • Krytox GPL Oils, with their low surface tension, will easily wet metallic surfaces and since they are chemically inert, they have no effect on metals up to 288°C (550°F)
  • Krytox GPL Oils last significantly longer, so less lubricant is needed. They are completely nontoxic and do not release volatile organic compounds into the atmosphere
  • Krytox GPL Oils combine stability, high-temperature performance, and chemical inertness with outstanding lubrication under a variety of conditions
New to bag lubing?

  1. Take all your springs and place them in a sealable bag.
  2. Lightly drop 4-6 drops of oil into the bag on top of the springs (more/less can be added for extra saturation or smaller/larger quantities)
  3. inflate the bag just a little bit - if you do not have a computer duster that will inflate without having to blow into the bag - try blowing from a distance (keeps the amount of moisture introduced to a minimum). You aren't trying to pressurize it - just get enough air to puff it out.
  4. Shake the bag around, mixing the oil and springs. Do this for 20-30 seconds, then let it sit for a moment, and do it again. Eventually, you will notice that the bag starts to get hazy/cloudy... that is the lube and a sign you are doing it right :)
  5. Use some tweezers to remove the springs one at a time and avoid touching them. Install the springs back into the switches, and you are all set!
